2015 McNeely Accessible Playground
On Monday June 15, 2015 Acting President Keith, Past President Barb and member Kenny attended the reopening of the Kathleen McNeely Elementary School Playground. The Rotary Club of Richmond contributed $10,000 to the project.
The project involved replacing old play equipment with new structures that are accessible. Children of all ages and abilities can now enjoy a new place to play.
The idea for an accessible playground was brought on by Richmond resident, Amanda Bostik and her daughter, Gemma. Amanda was recently presented with a Paul Harris Fellows by the Rotary of Richmond in recognition of her tireless efforts in bringing this playground in fruition.
