Our Rotary Foundation turns 100. That’s a century of Rotary members changing lives and improving communities all over the world. On April 21, The Rotary Club of Richmond celebrated with a fundraising concert at the Gateway Theatre raised $10,000 for the Rotary Foundation.

We wish to acknowledge the generous contribution of Spencer Cheung and the members of The Dream Continues Band for donating their time and talent.  The Dream Continues, who performed to a sold out audience and captured the memories of four decades of favorite tunes. Audience were on their feet at the end of the show, dancing to the encore.  Spencer was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow which is the highest level of recognition given by Rotary to those who show outstanding community support.

Our sincere thanks to Jenice Yu of F.I.S.H. Fresh Ideas Starts Here, our sponsor of the delicious seafood and sushi for the reception. F.I.S.H. is a subsidiary of Grand Hale Marine Products.

As well, we like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, members and audience for making Rotary Rocks Richmond a huge success.

To Dean, our Foundation Chair and Event Chair, thanks for arranging this TRF 100th anniversary celebration. We had a lots of fun!
