Cambie Interact Installation
Our Nov 23 meeting was held at H J Cambie Secondary School where over 25 students were inducted into the Rotary world of Interact. DG Lyn Stroshin performed the induction while eight of our club members plus ADG Rick Lewall, District Interact Chair Jim Ling and several other guests looked on. The students were each introduced by their President Gurleen and received both an Interact pin as well as a Rotary Serving Humanity theme pin from DG Lyn. Gurleen also outlined the recent fundraising conducted by the Interact Club which involved costumes for their teachers. Funds raised were donated to the Arts Umbrella in Vancouver. Everyone ’tucked ’ into the pizza and cookies after the induction.
