Happy Valentines Day!  Jacqueline arranged some treats for us all today.  Rotarians and guests enjoyed chocolates and table decorations.  Just in case some of us left Valentines cards to the last minute, Jacqueline even provided an assortment of cards for us to take home.

In keeping with matters of the heart, Boys and Girls Club Donor Engagement Specialist, Kirstie Rousell provided some background on the programme and how citizens can become involved.  There are Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the lower mainland, close to any of us.  Children are provided after school snack and planned activities for a few hours until they are picked up by their parents.  Discover more about Boys and Girls Club on their website.

We were graced with several visitors today, Paul Keeley, a Rotarian from Newcastle Gosforth in the UK.  He attended the Peace Conference and had his own message about Sustainable Global Gardens and the importance of planting trees.  This is Ibrahim Elburai's third visit to our club, twice at lunch and at the Chinese New Year Gala.  Scott Campbell, a frequent visitor.....so much so, that the writer forgot to introduce him.....a costly oversight and a $2 fine.
