Oct 12 Meeting Highlights

Very nice to be graced with some visitors at Rotary today.  MiaWang and Pauline Chien from Kwantlen Polytechnic University,  Michael Treadwell from Portland Club, Wilbur Walrond from Ladner Club and Robert Lu joined us today to listen to Philip Li's classification talk.  As visitor Wilbur aptly pointed out, we heard some of Philip's background that many of us did not previously know.  We found out how his experiences with airlines and travel brought him to a much travelled career with his travel agency.  Should anyone require his expertise in planning wonderful vacations, he is the man to call. We also had a surprise drop in from Past District Governor John Anderson.

 

Note that two future meetings, Honorary Member luncheon on Nov 9th and District Governor's visit Nov 16th will be relocated to the Sheraton Vancouver Airport.  Please mark your calendars so as not to miss these upcoming get togethers.
