President James presented a cheque of $37,497.08 to Jack Lee, President of IDAS (International Development Assistance Society of Canada) for Amitofo Care Centre, money was raised from the 2016 African Goodwill Mission. Three plaques were presented to Jack Lee, Lucilla Lai (out of town) and Daphne Wu recognizing their involvement in this special event.
A framed T-Shirt with signatures from the 17 performing orphans and officers of 2016 Goodwill Mission from Africa was presented to Rotary Club of Richmond, thanking the club’s sponsoring their performance.
A beautifully woven straw hat from ACC Africa was presented to Daphne Wu for her hard work as the CEO of this special event.
We are delighted to receive a certificate from MLA John Yap recognizing the Rotary Club of Richmond for sponsoring the Goodwill Mission.
