Wed March 8 - Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary - Jan Robson

Greyhaven is a volunteer-run, registered non-profit society, they provide rescue and protection for parrots. In recent years, they taken in about 200 birds annually and adopt out about the same. In June 2016 they saved 584 parrots from Coombs, BC, By Dec they still have 280 birds in their care. Jan is the Communication Director for Greyhaven. Read more ...

On Friday April 21 at the Gateway Theatre, the amazing Spencer and The Dream Continues will play favorite songs from Dianna Ross, Queen, Wings, ELO, Journey, Chicago, Led Zeppelin, Adele, Deep Purple, Eagles and much more!  Check out some previous performance videos here...
For the past 9 years, Spencer, the Founder of the band has been putting up fundraising concerts for different causes, we are grateful he choose to support The Rotary Foundation this year.
Proceeds will go to The Rotary Foundation which has been "Doing Good in the World" for 100 years.

District 5040 RYLA South (Grade 10-12) 

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is Rotary’s leadership training and personal development program for young people. It is being sponsored by local Rotary Clubs. 
RYLA South will be held from April 14-17 at YMCA’s Camp Elphinstone, Gibson. During the 4 day cam  the students will learn valuable leadership and career skills, build self-confidence, discuss current ethical and social issues and meet active community leaders – all while having a ton of fun! There are still a few spots left, registration deadline is March 10.
Interest to visit RYLA? There will be a Rotarian Visit day on Saturday April 15th, 2017, cost $30 which will cover lunch at the camp, a RYLA T-shirt and a coveted RYLA pin! Register here.
