Last week's meeting started with a great rendition of "O Canada" led by new member Alvin. Lots of handshakes went around welcoming PP Chris Browne back. It is a great pleasure to meet Paul Hui, our generous donor of the Rattan Furniture and nice to see returning guest Jacqueline Ho. AG Wayne Connorton brought us a present... the 2017-18 theme banner "Rotary making a difference". Congratulation to our lucky winner David. We accomplished quite a bit of planning for the August 26 and 27 Rattan Sale Fundraiser. Very glad to see old and new members participating in various responsibilities in promoting the event and signing up as volunteers on the sale days. The more money we raise, the more we can contribute back to the community and the B.C. Wildfire Relief.
