The Blue Sky Project
Our speaker on Wednesday was Alodie Yen from the Tzu Chi Canada, their PR Director Tom Torng also joined us.
Since 1994, Tzu Chi volunteers have been serving local communities across Canada. Currently, they have over 40,000 regular donors and over 2,200 volunteers. The Blue Sky Project is a collaboration with several school districts to provide various programs benefiting children in need... Provide and serve nutritious breakfasts to several elementary and secondary schools; Bursaries for underprivileged students to participate in extracurricular activities and Provide school supplies to financially challenged students at the beginning of each school year.
