On September 28, we were pleased to have Inge Schamborzki, May Soo and David Kimpton from Care BC to talk to us about the “Meals on Wheels” program. The Meals on Wheels program has been operating in Vancouver and Richmond since 1967. The program includes both Western & Chinese Meals that are delivered every weekday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Volunteers provide more than 400 meals and friendly visits to home-bound people in the Richmond-Vancouver area. Care BC is always looking for reliable volunteers to deliver meals, as well as donations to subsidize meals for low-income recipients. Email at info@carebc.ca
