Best Excellence Award Finalists

On Nov 4, we were graced with 3 visitors, Dixie, Lincoln and Richard. Richard Nash's visit was in respect to his role as a Richmond Chamber of Commerce judge for Association of the Year Award.  He had an interview with President Chris earlier in the day.  The Rotary Club of Richmond is one of 3 finalists for this category this year. Award recipients will be announced Nov 25th at the RiverRock Gala Dinner.

Dean and Antonio spoke of their experiences at Rotary Leadership Institute, both expressing the background they received about the work of Rotary worldwide and meeting some new Rotarians from diverse backgrounds.   They attended RLI Part 1.  There are two other parts filled with even more information.  New and seasoned members are all encouraged to attend.  Understanding Rotary makes membership more valuable and worthwhile.

2015 Rotary UN Day

Rotary’s relationship with the United Nations dates back to 1945. Each year, Rotary Day at the United Nations invites more than 1,300 Rotarians including many Rotary International Directors, Foundation Trustees, past Senior Leaders, and guests to come together at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The program is designed to inspire and educate all participants as well as provide insight into the relationship between Rotary International and the United Nations. Rotary Day at the United Nations also includes a special program for youth interested in humanitarian service.
