McNeely School Playground Reopening

On Monday June 15, 2015 Keith, Barb and Kenny attended the reopening of the Kathleen McNeely Elementary School Playground. There were also members from other Richmond Clubs present. Four Richmond Rotary Clubs contributed to the project. The project involved replacing old play equipment with new structures that are accessible. Children of all ages and abilities can now enjoy a new place to play.

The idea for an accessible playground was brought on by Richmond resident, Amanda Bostik and inspired by her daughter Gemma.  Amanda was recently presented with a Paul Harris Fellows by the Rotary of Richmond in recognition of her tireless efforts in bringing this playground in fruition.
