Push Up Challenge raised over $5,500

Push-Ups, Push-Ups, Push-ups and more Push-Ups was the theme for our social night and dinner Nov 20, 2015. Our pre-dinner entertainment was a push-up challenge between 4 Rotarians. Although arms were weary, spirits were high, as each competitor was cheered on by onlookers.

The champion, Antonio, achieved 98 push-ups in 90 seconds....an epic machine-like performance for our fundraiser during Foundation Month. Proceeds are to be split between Club Community Projects and End Polio. After the push-ups and many handshakes and admiring pats on the back, we all enjoyed a fellowship and visits with Rotary friends and visitors over dinner in the delightful CAVU at the Hilton. All in, we should certainly achieve well over $5,500 in donations and more to come, for which we express gratitude and thanks to all our donors and supporters.
