Winn ie Cheung is the Executive Director\, The Pacific Canada Heritage Centre (PCHC) – Museum of Migration Society and Co-chair of MVOH 2020. She is a community-builder and writer\, worked as an educator in universities in both Hong Kong (birth home) and Vancouver (adopted home since 1986). She believes in building understanding to bridge differences through conversa tions and other forms of creative engagements. Over the last three decade s\, Winnie has provided leadership to establish/sustain many projects tha t value diversity in conversations for better understanding and problem-s olving. These included the Inter-Community Dialogues\, Global Citizenship Project and Global Student Speakers Bureau at the University of British Columbia\; the Dialogues Project at the City of Vancouver\; and the Elder s’ Circle of Reconciliation Canada.
