  Ackhurst  Peter is working with the Golden Sunrise Rotary club in Arusha
 \, Tanzania to put together a global grant project in a little town of Kar
 atu. It involves 6 primary schools and tree planting around the schools an
 d the town and the local farmers.  The grant has not been approved\, 6 R
 otary Clubs in BC have offered funds and still working on fundraising for
  the project. Peter was the past D5040 Community Service Chair\, he is a f
 orester and lived and worked in Tanzania for 2 years.  He has been worki
 ng on several global grant projects in Uganda over the past 10 years
