 on Chow Building on the work of a previous District 5040 Foundation Grant\
 , which provided computer labs to two schools in rural Kenya\,  the team 
 made up with 6 school teachers led by PDG John Anderson travelled to Kenya
  on March 16 to conduct 2 weeks workshop to train teachers to teach with 
 technology and implement 21Century Learning Skills in the classrooms .   
      Richmond secondary Teacher Jason has 11 years of secondary school te
 aching experience in BC. He primarily teaches senior physics and has exper
 ience teaching all disciplines of science in junior grades. Jason is very 
 involved in the school community.  He coaches the school’s competitive 
 science teams and the junior ultimate team. He currently serves as the sta
 ff’s co-professional development chair and has previously served as a te
 chnology education mentor. In the wider community\, Jason is a founding bo
 ard member of the Vancouver Dodgeball League. He has volunteered with the 
 organization for over 12 years. Jason has an M.Ed in secondary education a
 nd a B.Sc in physics from UBC. He lives in Vancouver with his wife Carmen.
