 n’s shoes. Own their stories. Listen deeply.   During the 2016 US presi
 dential election while studying as a Rotary Peace Fellow at Duke/UNC Peace
  Center Linda Low founded a program convening diverse voices in facilitate
 d dialogue to reduce polarization. Through techniques – such as Third-to
 -First Person and Circle – participants are invited to step into another
  person’s shoes\, own their stories\, listen deeply\, and reciprocate wi
 th honest discourse. The program has grown to serve communities in diverse
  ways\, at first focused on conflict transformation\, now also fostering c
 ommunity engagement and accountability. Linda served with the Internationa
 l Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) from 2010 to 2
 016. She was the IFRC’s Communications Manager for Europe leading the or
 ganization’s communications efforts on the migration crisis. Prior to th
 is post\, she served the IFRC in Geneva for five years on the global commu
 nications team. Prior to joining the Red Cross\, Linda was Associate Direc
 tor of Corporate Communications for Bell Canada where she led corporate co
 mmunications in Western Canada. As Manager of International Relations\, sh
 e was part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Bid. Linda was featured in the Ro
 tary magazine https://www.rotary.org/en/migration-challenges-inspire-rota
 ry-peace-scholar  and was a keynote speaker at the Rotary Presidential Pe
 ace Conference in 2018 in Vancouver. Linda is currently living in Seattle\
 , Washington!
