  to help people in over 35 countries. Their initiatives described below ar
 e quite similar to Rotary areas of focus.   Water for Life Initiative –
  capped water wells of safe\, pure water for the thirsty Humanitarian Aid 
 – food for the hungry\, shelter and clothing for the homeless\, medical 
 relief for the needy\, and counselling for the traumatized Women & Childre
 n – support of safe and loving homes that nurture and equip children and
  destitute women for a hopeful future Disaster Response – provision of e
 mergency food\, water\, shelter and clothing Development – education cla
 sses\, agricultural projects\, building projects  About the speaker – Li
 ly Kwok Currently LIFE Teams Manager of GAiN Hold B.S. in UBC specializing
  in Civil Engineering. Worked as a Professional Engineer for seven years i
 n both the public and private sector in the area of Water Treatment and Wa
 ter Supply.
