  Chuck Keeling literally grew up in the horse racing/gaming industry. His 
 family and outside partners owned several race tracks\, and Keeling starte
 d working in the business when he was eight years old and continued throug
 h school and university. Through some untimely deaths in the family\, Keel
 ing was thrust into the position of managing the company’s two racetrack
 s by the time he was 24. Shortly thereafter\, he led the eight year campai
 gn to secure slot machine approval both municipally and provincially for h
 orse racing in the province. In late 2004\, Great Canadian Gaming successf
 ully acquired these race tracks and retained Keeling to oversee the compan
 y’s horse racing interests. In 2013\, they appointed him VP\, Stakeholde
 r Relations and Responsible Gaming to oversee the company’s relations wi
 th government\, communities\, charities\, and the media\, as well as overs
 ee the company’s responsible gambling programs. He has had the privilege
  of sitting on multiple non-profit boards\, and is married with a 13- year
  old daughter who is more demanding than his full time job will ever be.
