Rotarians Pull Together to Support Lytton
A few weeks ago, the village of Lytton BC was tragically destroyed by wildfire. Homes, businesses and communities were destroyed.

As we always do, Rotarians from across British Columbia pulled together to support our friends and family in Lytton.

Richmond Rotary, along with other Rotary clubs in our district, were asked to purchase and donate gift cards to send to those in need in Lytton.

To date, nearly $30,000 has been raised to support the victims of the wildfire in Lytton. A number of Richmond Rotarians committed to purchase $100 gift cards in well over $1000 in contributions.

If you would like to make a donation, you can send an e-transfer to: society@stevestonrotary.ca. You can also send a cheque made payable to the Rotary Club of Steveston Charitable Society.  That can be mailed to 12111 3rd Ave. Richmond, B.C. V7E 3K1.

Pick your project - Wednesday Meeting
There are a number of projects that Richmond Rotary needs to tackle this year.  We need all hands on deck!
Volunteer | Edmonton Islamic Academy
Have you told President Suna how you would like to contribute yet?  At last Wednesday's meeting, Richmond Rotary started planning out how to allocate resources for our year's upcoming projects.

This year, we're going to be tackling a number of projects from the Ipad project, to Bingo, to the table tennis projects.

Make sure to contact President Suna at sunayee@outlook.com and let her know how and where you would like to contribute this year!

For the remainder of the meeting, President Suna discussed our current state and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Our Hybrid option provides a brand new opportunity for people to continue to attend meetings even if they are busy or occupied at home/work.

Suna has proposed great ideas around making the club more social, interactive and engaging for all members. Additionally, Suna proposed exciting ideas around engaging our neighboring clubs in the region. We've already started a new Whatsapp group strictly dedicated to social matters!
