Rotary Pop Classics Charity Concert

Join us for a rare encounter with Pop Classics, an unique performance you don't want to miss!

A total of ten classics performed by Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra (VMO) under the baton of Maestro Ken Hsieh, Spencer Cheung & His Dream Continues, and Loig Morin & the Band. Particularly noteworthy is that Loig Morin, a French musician who makes Vancouver his home, will give the audience a big surprise. After his latest album “La Rivière” was released last year, the Canadian musical world was immediately enchanted by its deeply rich French flavour. Ken Hsieh offered Loig to adapt his titles in symphonic version, and co-operation between the two thus began. In this concert, you will see the magic that results when they work together.

The concert is co-organized by VMO and The Rotary Club of Richmond. Proceeds to support the Rotary Foundation and End Polio Now. Since 1917, The Rotary Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. Charity Navigator gives the Foundation highest 4 stars rating for 11th consecutive year. The eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts. Along with our partners, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide. With your help, we can end polio for good and make lives better in your community and around the world.
