President Henry kicked off his year in style, as we were led in the National Anthem by a recording provided by James K.  We also enjoyed a beautiful cake to celebrate his term as President.  Sounds good doesn't it.... "President Henry"? 

 

Sharing his first ever meeting as President were James H, James K, Cindy Lau, Bill Lau, Jacqueline Ho, Suna Yee, Antonio Lee, Kenny Chu, Daphne Wu, Hugo Li and visitors Lincoln Yeung, Jason Fernando, Daehan Choi and Christina Chang.   We enjoyed hearing a little from each of the visitors and thus, getting to know them a little more.  New Sgt. at Arms Cindy wasted no time collecting happy and sad dollars.   Cindy made a significant dent in achieving her goals for the year just in this meeting.

 

President Henry outlined some of his goals for the year, most significantly, the success of the Chinese New Year gala, the intent of Rotary to capture all of our volunteer hours as a measure for the vast work of Rotary around the world, and to increase our membership.  Sorry that the missing Rotarians did not receive a piece of the cake.  Please mark Rotary for Wednesdays in your calendars.
