Welcome Elizabeth & Zach!
On November 18 Zoom meeting, DG Dave took the stage to officiate over a very happy celebration.  He inducted two new Rotarians, Elizabeth Roach and Zach Segal.  Elizabeth and Zach mark the 7th and 8th new Rotarians to join our club since July 1st.  Our club is getting a little stronger with each new member, each bringing a skill set and experience to help our Club make more good things happen in our own community as well as around the world.  Our club is also getting a little younger with each new member, which is important as we rely more heavily on new technologies for getting things done.  We welcome Elizabeth, who is Executive Director of Rotary Hospice House, and Zach who is with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

The Rotary Foundation - our Charity
Past District Governor Del Paterson, overviewed The Rotary Foundation, highlighting how the Foundation works to provide our clubs grant money to help our projects.

For the 12th consecutive year, The Rotary Foundation has received the highest rating — four stars — from Charity Navigator.

The Rotary Foundation is OUR Charity.  Rotary clubs and Rotarians put Foundation money to work, on projects large and small, locally and around the world.  Our club projects can be more impactful with a bit more money, and that is how the Foundation pitches in.    His message is quite simple, the Foundation needs us to contribute something, anything, annually to build a solid war chest of funds for projects.  There are application procedures of course, but put simply, imagine what we do with our projects with a bit more support funding from The Rotary Foundation.

It is the responsibility of EVERY ROTARIAN to contribute to the Rotary Foundation EVERY YEAR to the best of their ability. Contribution options….
