Minda Dentler was born in India, she contracted polio when she was 6 months old and was left paralyzed from the hips down. Unable to care for her, Minda’s birth mother left her at an orphanage. Fortunately, Minda was adopted shortly after her third birthday and moved to Spokane, Washington.
