Our Feb 1st Chinese New Year fundraiser is a little over 3 months away, and much has to be planned and coordinated.  Today we spent time on a draft plan.  Barbara asked for club member input, and filled in some action steps on registration, ticketing, sponsorship, silent auction, entertainment and someone to do a power point.  As this is our major fundraiser for our club this year, we are counting on the participation and support of every member to execute a successful event for 350 people.  Please volunteer for some duties with Barbara.

 

Three students Mark, Mia and Pauline from Kwantlen Polytechnique University attended our luncheon today, partly to observe a Rotary Club and partly to network and explore how a Rotaract Club might be formed.  Through Barbara and perhaps with introductions to Janice Froese in District 5040, they might make the right connections to take the next step.
