On January 24, President James, PE Debbie and PEN Drew attended the RCRG Thank you breakfast. The Rotary Club of Richmond donated $1,600 to the Richmond Christmas Fund, they accepted this Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of our club.
On January 26 President Elect Debbie and President Elect Nominee Drew joined forces with the awesome members of the Steveston London Secondary SLSS Interact Club and dropped off a van full of donations they had collected for the Covenant House. Rotary youth helping youth in need! So very proud of these awesome young people!
The first week of February Debbie and Drew took a road trip down to Blooms Winery on Whidbey Island and bought some Rotary Foundation Centennial Wine! 40% of each bottle sold goes to The Rotary Foundation!
Debbie also attended the online PETS training scheduled the same night! A big thank you to DGE Don Evans for making the PETS training available to Debbie while she was in the US.
They also attended the Rotary Club of Oak Harbour on Whidbey Island as their guest speakers. They enjoyed an awesome lunch and spoke about our club and club projects. At the end of the meeting they presented Club President Greg Smith with a bottle of Rotary Foundation Centennial Wine!
