On June 28th, 2025, the Rotary Club of Richmond held its annual President's Ball to welcome our new President, and incoming board. With over 70 attendees, local public officials, and dozens of Rotarians, it was one of our most successful President's Balls yet! Yuhan Chen was installed as President, and Hugo Li finished his term as President. The Rotary Club of Richmond would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hugo for his incredibly successful term. Hugo has long been an integral Richmond Rotarian, and has been instrumental in supporting Richmond Rotary's IT/Tech advancement as we moved to more remote options. He presided over expansion of the membership, new and exciting social events to engage members such as Potlucks and picnics, and incredibly successful annual fundraising events at Lunar New Year and much more. Tens of thousands of dollars were raised for important causes for the Rotary Club of Richmond's partners such as the Hospice House and the Multicultural Services society. It was an honor to have our local public officials honor Hugo's work. Thank you Hugo! 
We look forward to Yuhan Chen's term! Yuhan joined Rotary over 4 years ago, and has played an integral role as Treasurer, and other key functions. He is an engineer by trade, and has been one of our most active members, playing a key role in organizing our annual Lunar New Year gala, and other events. We look forward to an exciting year ahead!
