Our newest member Hugo (Letian) Li is a marketing and IT specialist who has over 15 years experience in digital marketing. Six years ago, he got his MBA in paris. He also cares about the community，devotes a lot in social work. He is the president of a strata council. His classification is Marketing/IT.

Congratulations to Club President Dean Hsieh for winning the D5040 Rotarian of the Year! He was presented with a banner by DG Darcy Long and last year’s winner Ken Martin of Whistler at the District Conference.

Dean, we are so happy for you. Thank you for leading us for a great year. Sgt-at-Arm should be expecting big happy dollars on Wednesday!

Why would you like to join Rotary

While enjoying a delicious lunch at Richmond Curling Club, members had a fireside chat and discussions on why they joined Rotary. Among the most popular answers were service above self, to get involved in service projects and to make a difference to the community. Joining Rotary is thus a brilliant idea!

The table-tennis tournament last month was a wonderful example of projects that foster healthy lifestyle and fundraiser for the benefits of the community. The Club is planning to host the tournament again next year and raise fund to install more table-tennis tables in the community parks.
