Sherry was born in Taiwan and Graduated from Zhong Hsin University with a Major in Horticulture.  She immigrated to Vancouver in 1992 with a family of 4.  She was the owner of Sherry Ceramic Co. Ltd that imported houseware & Giftware from Taiwan & China to North America.  She is involved in many community events and volunteer activities. She is the director of Metro Vancouver of Taiwanese Association; Director of Chinese Benevolent Association; Director of North Shore Folkfest; Director of Western Canada of Zhong Hsin University Alumni; and Director of Le Plaisir Dance Society.
