Rotary Global WASH Grant

Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene is one the Rotary's causes.

Rotary Club of Tsawwassen has initiated a new GLOBAL WASH Project and is looking for partners to join in the journey. The project is to build gravity flow water systems in the rural area of Uganda where there is little access to clean drinking water and women and girls spend most of their days walking to access drinking water that causes water borne illness. This keeps the villages in “water poverty”.

The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen will be partnering with the Rotary Club of Mbarara, Uganda, and ACTS for Water, a charity based in Richmond BC, that has been building gravity flow water systems in Uganda for over 25 years and has successfully completed Rotary WASH projects.

Their club is in the process of applying for the Global WASH grant and is looking for other clubs to join in.
