Getting awareness in the Richmond business community
Jason Tse joined HQ Vancouver in May of 2015 as Director of Business Development on a secondment basis from YVR and returning to the airport in 2018.
Jason was previously with YVR for over 15 years spending time in Corporate Finance, and most recently in Air Service Development developing YVR’s route network. Recent wings he was involved in included new service by Air France, Aeromexico, and new routes by Air Canada to Osaka and Brisbane.
Jason holds an MBA, a degree in Economics and the CFA designation and has held previous board positions with the Hong Kong Canada Business Association, Tourism Richmond, and the Council for the Americas. He is also closely involved with UBC’s Vancouver School of Economics and its Sauder School of Business. Jason’s key responsibilities are in transportation, professional services, and green technology with geographical focus on Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Latin America. A long time Richmond resident, he is especially keen on promoting the significant operating cost differential between Vancouver and competing US West Coast cities anchored by the fact that BC now has the lowest corporate tax rate in North America.
