"Happy to see everyone and share good memories" pretty well sums up a nice dinner at newly renovated Cavu Restaurant at the Hilton on Saturday, Dec 6th, 2014.

Chris Browne and Philip Li organized a very special evening featuring a wonderful dinner plus a fabulous quartet and crooner from Matthew McNair High School Jazz Band under the tutelage of their teacher Jan.

We also enjoyed a couple of fun games, the first was to determine what 12 items were inside a sealed up Christmas Stocking. Just by feel, 3 people guessed 9 correct items out of 12. As all the winners were seated at the same table, they shared the prize gift basket. The second game was equally challenging, to randomly select a gift from the pile and then to guess as to who brought the gift. After the game everyone kept their gift.

Things don't get much better than sharing dinner with friends at Christmas. We also shared our Christmas spirit by collecting for our annual Richmond Christmas Fund. Thanks to all our members and visitors for their generosity. This donation will be used by Richmond Christmas Fund to brighten the lives of needy families, so they too may enjoy gifts, toys and a wonderful family meal. A presentation will be made Wednesday December 17th at our regular Rotary luncheon at the Ningbo Restaurant located in Parker place.
