“Power of Selfish”

The greatest solutions often start within ourselves.  Sharina will share the importance of putting ourselves first by sharing her own life lessons.   Many of us have experienced compromising our needs in one form or another as a parent, child, friend, or spouse.  She will touch on the challenge, fear and guilt one may feel, when putting ourselves first.  Sharina's story goes beyond making ourselves a priority especially when it feels impossible.  While our stories may differ, the imperative message remains: We must take care of ourselves in order to best take care of others.  Selfish tends to have an unsavory flavour - Sharina is here to share the beauty of selfish and how it has freed her, to be able to give from a place of strength.

About Sharina

Sharina is a local Speaker and has been a Toastmaster since July 2013. Born in Peru, she was adopted and raised in Richmond, BC. Sharina is proud of her roots, both local and abroad.

At a very early age, Sharina was always curious about people, and how all of our experiences shape who we are.  She embarked on her personal development journey at the age of 25 and is living the benefits of a positive mindset, and how to step into your fears.  She has benefited greatly from leaping out of her own comfort zone, and recognizes the value of connection with self, in order to lead one's best life and influence others.
