Feed-U-Cate School District 38
Wendy Lim, Assistant Superintendent and Marie Ratcliffe, District Administrator of District 38 will give us an update of the Feed-U-Cate program since they spoke in our club September last year.
A Fall 2012 survey to schools discovered that Richmond Schools spend over $15,000 per year on breakfast programs for our students in need. This is in addition to grants that schools receive to support breakfast and lunch clubs. FEED-U-CATE 38 funds are available to all schools to help purchase food for meal programs and to help keep snack cupboards stocked. Local organizations and community members have generously donated to this fund.
