Martin Van Den Hemel - Significance of a good community newsletter ​

Martin is the Managing Director of Richmond Sentinel, a community newspaper organization that provides balanced and relevant news and information to the community of Richmond​.

A journalist since 1994, Martín has enjoyed covering a wide variety of city beats, from criminal courts to city hall and school board. But his passion has long been for investigative journalism and uncovering stories nobody else is writing about. While he has won more than a dozen local, provincial and national awards, he takes greatest pride in being able to help those in need.​
