Girls can fly too

The Sky's No Limit - Girls can fly too! Girls should have the opportunities in aeronautics, as in any technology field. Our Oct 14th speaker Kirsten Brazier has been organizing special information and orientation days for the benefit of girls, young and old. They get the opportunity to ride in a helicopter, enjoy some hands on activities and see some aeronautic displays up close. Kirsten wants girls to realize that careers can be fashioned in the air, just as much as in an office.

Kirsten has spent many years flying all sorts of aircraft in areas all over Canada. She brings her infectious enthusiastic message to organizations and groups as often as she can. There are very, very few females in the technological areas of aeronautics and Kirsten is being a great champion for change. (More detail)
