Rotarian Suna Yee presented her courageous, passionate and heartfelt Classification Talk.  We learned of her life's bumpy ride and how she got to where she is now.  Her steadfast optimism and open mindedness have served her well, helping her to overcome her difficult moments.  Yet, she feels lucky and grateful.  She counts as gifts, family, friends, spirituality and now her extended family of Rotary.  And Rotary is lucky to find Suna, a most energetic person, very well suited to take over Youth Services.  Suna has completed RLI levels 1 and 2, and looking forward to level 3 in September.

Our visitors from Mexico, Richard Boulier and Irving Vargas proposed a social evening Sep 16th to celebrate Independence Day for Mexico. Hopefully Rotarians from all Richmond clubs can join in for a Sunday afternoon of Mexican cuisine and a little fun.  They also brought a message from their Club President Carla, wishing us well and introducing their project to provide vocational training for those in their city that need a little help to get back on their feet and contribute to society.

Sgt. at Arms James Kao, then cajoled extra happy bucks from everyone, including his guest Kenny Yang.  If you have ever attended a Classification Talk, you would have really appreciated Suna's talk today.
