On July 7th, 2021, Richmond Rotary held it`s first ever Hybrid Zoom/In-person meeting. As we begin to return to normal after the pandemic, we are going to begin more in-person events and meetings, with a Hybrid zoom option for those who choose to use it.
It was also President Suna`s first meeting as our newly inducted President! Suna delivered an inspiring speech to rally the troops as we embark on what will be an exciting and active year for Rotary.
With about 6 Rotarians on Zoom (as can be seen on the screens in the back), and Rotarians in person at Continental Seafood restaurant, the meeting went off without a hitch. The hybrid option is an innovative method to ensure high turnout, while also promoting the friendship that comes with in person meetings. As we still get used to this new method, please share your views on the Hybrid option so we can pass it along to the District Hybrid sub-committee.
