Great to see Eva, back from her trip and see how well she is recovering. We are all relieved she is doing so well and can be out and about so quickly. Also wonderful to see Philip, back from his travels and always nice to see Scott Campbell from Steveston Club.
Sgt at Arms James was in good form today, since no speaker scheduled, we enjoyed a couple minutes of happy and sad dollars from everyone. Cindy expressed the gratefulness of the club to Hugo, for being so resourceful for us and contributing to the success of the table tennis tournament.
President Dean announced we will be accepting a cheque from the Youth Initiative for $5,000 towards Polio on June 8th at the Chinatown Cultural Centre, and asked for volunteers to attend to represent the club. He also announced the upcoming Presidents Dinner on Jun 28th and the Don Evans Memorial on July 7th.
