Visiting us was Vivian Wu, and as was introduced by James Kao, Vivian was a Rotarian in Taiwan. She currently owns an import/export company here in Richmond. Hope we see Vivian visit us more often. We enjoyed a vigorous round of happy dollars as we heard about updates from our members.
Coming up be sure to register for our Club's Christmas Party and to pledge an amount to the Christmas Fund. We will culminate our collection at our Christmas Dinner Dec 14th for a cheque to be presented to Richmond Cares Richmond Gives. Our Club has been supporting this campaign for well over 30 years and by now perhaps over $100,000. The plight of the less advantaged is still a calling for citizens in Richmond. Christmas spirit tugs at the heart, and Rotarians are there to put a smile on a few faces. Happy families at Christmas time, yes, that's Making Good Things Happen.
