When our District Club Extension ChairTom Smith visits, he always brings a great message to inspire Rotarians.  His presentation on Wednesday was about clubs concentrating on membership retention.  He talked about having people assigned to mentoring and providing timely information to new members.  Keeping Rotarians engaged and keeping Rotary relevant should be our real focus.  How we greet and treat visitors and potential members at regular meetings is also important.  New members are joining Rotary clubs, so that isn't really an area of concern.  In short, we need to put more effort on keeping Rotarians engaged.   New members want to participate and contribute, and really, don't we all? For those were not there, you can view the presentation (PDF) or watch (video)

Our visitors were Interact President and Vice President ShinMei Javier and Sukvir Dosanjh.
