On May 24, 2025, members of the Rotary Club of Richmond proudly attended the End Polio Now awareness event held at Aberdeen Center. Organized by the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset, the event brought together local clubs, community members, and volunteers in a shared mission to help eradicate polio worldwide.
This was not only an important opportunity to show solidarity with Rotary International’s flagship cause, but also a chance to connect with Richmond residents and raise awareness about Rotary’s broader impact. Our club members engaged with visitors, shared stories from our recent service projects—such as the Thanyaburi Hospital fundus camera donation and our ongoing support for local seniors—and introduced many passersby to the values of Rotary.
We thank the Richmond Sunset Club for hosting such a meaningful event and for giving us the chance to help inspire the next generation of community leaders.
Together, we are one step closer to a polio-free world.
