The Rotary Club of Richmond has held two summer social events in 2024!
To accommodate all Rotarians, the Rotary Club of Richmond has started hosting more social events. This summer, we had high tea at Gary Point Park, and a potluck dinner at Rotarian Abu Hasan Jahangir's home. Thank you to Yuhan Chen for organizing the summer socials, providing an opportunity for fellowship and friendship outside of our meetings!
Thank you to all the volunteers, and a special thank you to Leah Cheyne for making special high tea items including - Salmon Canapes, cucumber sandwiches, devilled eggs, and leek and bacon quiche.
Abu Jahangir also welcome the Rotary Club of Richmond to his home for a potluck dinner.
And most importantly, we inducted our newest member, Tsitsi Chigumba. Tsitsi was born in Zimbabwe and has lived and worked in South Africa, Germany and now Canada. She loves volunteering and giving talks on faith, as well as coaching people in their life journeys. She is a Scrum Master and Agile coach for BC public services and runs a small business selling cookware online and teaches Shona on YouTube.
