Our Contribution to the VeinViewer
PP Barb represented our club at the cheque presentation to the Richmond Hospital Foundation VeinViewer Project. Thank you to our Push-Up Challenge supporters and our members generous donations.
The Vein Viewer coloured infrared light at a distance to light up and instantly show a patient’s veins. This state-of-the-art equipment is especially useful when caring for children, who are often afraid and moving, which can prevent easy access and identification.
609 Steveston Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron
PR Director Debbie and our Honorary Member MP Alice Wong attended this annual ceremonial review. It is highlight of the year for the Cadets recognizing their outstanding contribution to our country. It was a fantastic event. Congratulations to all the Cadets, Leaders, Families and Supporters - such an awesome group of young people.
The Cadet program is the largest federally-sponsored program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities while learning about the sea, army and air activities of the Canadian Forces.
