Election of officers and presentation of financial report of the year ended Jun 30, 2023 and the mid-year report

Richmond Multicultural Community Services by Parm Grewal (12:15 to 1pm)

RMCS was originally founded as the Richmond Multicultural Concerns Society in 1985. RMCS began as an advocacy group to support newcomers facing barriers and challenges with settling in Richmond, as well as facing discrimination and racism.

Nowadays, they assist the new immigrants and refugees by providing a variety of services such as language development, job search skills and networking skills within the community.

They also host a wide range of programs and community events to facilitate and promote multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusiveness in Richmond.

Executive Director Parm Grewal has over 20 years experience of working in non-profit organization management. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Budgeting, Community Building, Project Management, Board Governance, Event Planning, Procurement Processes, Social Media Marketing, Customer Service, Impact Evaluation, and Coaching.
